Every year, The Visual Arts Prize of the City of Nantes recognises emerging artists in the region by providing exposure and career development opportunities in the form of grants and other support or assistance.
- a 6 000 € grant distributed over the course of two years, or 3 000 € yearly, covering production costs and artist compensation.
- a workshop at either of the two locations managed by Bonus Association is provided for a two-year period : either l’îlot des îles or Félix Thomas (unless an artist should decline).
- participation in a group exhibition organised by one of the curators at the Atelier, a municipal exhibition space.
- mentorship provided by the Pôle des arts visuels.
